How it works
SALONE TRACE is a complete system for rural process management and cashless financial transactions. It is made up of an mobile application for supply chain data management, a Web-User Interface (WebUI) for user management and configuration and the SAP Analytics Cloud real time data analytics. The tool was trimmed for efficiency in rural data collection and supply chain management to comply with international regulations. It allows the barcoded tracking of produce “from-farm-to-fork”, the registration and mapping of stakeholders and payment & loan appliances. Cloud based, offline-capable, traceability & payment system to make payments for crops, give loans or pay for premium. Improve the credit rating of rural subsistence farmers and formalize (female) land ownership and farm outputs, while connecting and enabling stakeholders to benefit from certification premiums or carbon credits.
SALONE TRACE Account
In order to connect to the SALONE TRACE infrastructure and access SALONE MONEY each individual stakeholder is assigned a SALONE TRACE Account. In this account all information regarding the transactions of the stakeholder and the project are stored and can be accessed through the mobile app or via the ID card at any Salone Trace Center or Salone Money Paypoint. Project managers can subscribe to the SALONE TRACE system in order to register their stakeholders in the digital cloud ecosystem.
